Cette année les épouses françaises ont été invitées au dîner de société pour fêter le nouvel an chinois.
Cette fois-ci je n'ai pas oublié mon appareil photo, et bien m'en a pris car je l'aurai regretté.
Lors de ce dîner, les employés de Valeo ont été invités a monter sur scène, pour chanter, danser, monter un petit sketch, au choix, et des jeux étaient organisés pendant le dîner: n'importe qui pouvait se présenter pour participer, tous les participants aux spectacles et aux jeux étant assurés d'être gratifiés d'un cadeau remis par la société. De plus, un tirage au sort pour gagner des lots étaient offerts.
Voici donc les photos que j'ai prises pendant ce dîner.
This year, the french wives were invited to come to Valeo's chinese new year dinner.
This time, I didn't forget my camera, and if I had, I really would have felt miserable.
All along this dinner, all of Valeo's employees were invited to participate by making a show (dancing, singing or other), and games were organized, all participants to shows and games were ensured they would win a prize.
Moreover there was a lucky draw where they had a chance to win a prize.

Etant arrivée assez en retard, je n'ai pas eu l'honneur d'y assister, et cette photo a été prise par le "photographe officiel de la société" (je lui en ai piqué d'autres)

A I arrived quite late, I did not have the honour to be there to hear him, and this photo was taken by "the company's official photographer" (I used here a few photos he took)
Tout d'abord voici les maîtres de cérémonie, impeccables dans leurs rôles respectifs.
Ici, une première chanson, sorte de chanson d'ouverture des réjouissances, chantée par deux ouvriers.
Lui, je dois dire, était excellent. Et il s'était vraiment mis en frais pour l'occasion!
A gauche, avant d'être entartré, à droite après l'entartrage (j'espère pour lui qu'il aura pu sauver son costume)
There is a first song, a kind of overture song, that was sung by two workers.
I must say that the male singer was really excellent. And he dressed ver nicely for that evening!

Here is the first game or "who is the quickest one to drink a bottle of beer with a straw?"
As Yann says, shame on the french, as it is the VIE who won, and who went back to his table with his bottle to finish it, the chinese people didn't do the same and I can tell you they're really good at drinking beer and other very alcoholic drinks.

Comme dit Yann, honte aux français, car c'est le VIE qui a gagné, et qui a d'ailleurs regagné sa table avec sa bouteille pour la finir, contrairement aux chinois qui sont pourtant largement porté sur la bière et les boissons bien alcoolisées.

Dans le jeu ci-dessus, les participants étaient par deux, accrochés par les chevilles, et étaient censés faire éclater les ballons de la couleur de leur équipe (couleur accrochée à l'épaule). Puis éclater les ballons de la même couleur accrochés au plafond.
Le truc drôle est qu'une équipe s'est totalement trompée et a éclaté les ballons de l'autre équipe.
Une autre chose amusante, on peut voir que beaucoup de personnes gardent leur doudoune (ici, on n'en voit qu'une, mais il y en avait plein d'autres dans la salle) même s'il y a le chauffage, tellement elles sont habituées à vivre dans des lieux non chauffées. Je précise que Valeo a le chauffage.
In the game up-there, the people who participated were by a team of two persons, tied together by the ankles, and they had to burst the balloons of their colour (the colour was on their shoulder). They then had to burst some balloons of the same colour hanging from the ceiling .
The funny thing was that a team got mixed up with the colours and burst the balloons of another team.
Another funny thing, we can see that many people keep their down jacket (we just see one here but there were many others in the room) even when the room is heated, as they are so used to non heated places. I do precise Valeo is heated.
Up-there, a show played by two workers of the company, who obviously also are show professionals.
Yann told me that they were also very good the year before.
This year, the one on the left (on the 1st photos) was acting a dog seller(was then acting one of these numerous little jobs we can see on the sidewalk in the streets downtown) and the other one was acting another seller who recognizes him as having faked a doctor the year before.
Eventually they organize themselves to fake beggars who are moreover, with handicaps, the second seller faking to be blind and the first one who cannot walk any more....
The result was a very funny sketch, even if you needed to speak fluent chinese to understand it...Fortunately Yann was next to me...

Yann dit que déjà l'an dernier ils étaient très forts.
Cette-fois-ci, celui de gauche (1ères photos) jouait un vendeur de petits chiens (bref représentait un de ces innombrables petits métiers que l'on peut trouver dans la rue, en ville, sur le trottoir) et l'autre un autre vendeur, qui le reconnaît comme s'étant fait passer pour un médecin l'an dernier.
Bref, ils finissent par s'organiser pour jouer des mendiants qui sont, de surcroît, affligés de handicaps, le 2ème vendeur devenant aveugle et le 1er ne pouvant plus bien marcher...
Le résultat était un sketch très rigolo, même si il fallait parler couramment chinois pour comprendre...heureusement que j'avais Yann avec moi...

Ci-dessus, un autre jeu.
Là, les participants, deux par deux et attachés l'un à l'autre, devaient réussir à faire un slalom.

There the people who participated had to succed a slalom attached to each other.
Here is Yann (with the MC who had changed clothes) who takes a paper to find a winner for the plane ticket that is offered by the company: in fact the miles Yann won by travelling with China Eastern, and as he travelled for business reasons, he thinks these miles belong to Valeo and as there were enough miles to pay a trip within China, he decided to offer one. My husband is a good person !
Ici, Yann (avec la maîtresse de cérémonie, qui a changé de tenue) tire au sort le gagnant du billet d'avion qui est offert par la société :en fait les points de fidélité que Yann a gagné en voyageant avec China Eastern, et comme il a voyagé pour des raisons professionnelles, il considère que ces points appartiennent à Valeo et comme il y en avait assez pour payer un voyage en Chine, il a décidé d'en offrir un en lot. Il est bien mon mari!

It seems that Yann’s employees had the big regret we didn’t bring our own children…considering the noise, they were much better staying at home.

Il semble que les employés aient regretté que nous n'ayions pas emmené les nôtres....Vu le bruit qui régnait, ils étaient bien mieux à la maison.

These gentlemen had brought coloured paste cans, and sprayed this on victims they chose.

J'ai trouvé que c'était une chouette soirée, les gens ont eu l'air de bien s'amuser, l'ambiance était très agréable.
I thought it was a nice evening.
People seemed to have a good time and there was a good atmosphere.
